Decorative Painting or Folk Art Class

Dear friends,

I'm going to have Decorative Painting or more familiar as Folk Art class at my house in Rawang soon.
The classes will only be held on Saturdays from 9am - 12pm (3 hours). Also please note that I cannot spare additional hours because of some personal commitments. If a painting could not be finished on time during the classes, you can continue on the next class or challenge yourself as a homework.

The fee is RM50 for each 3 hours. Materials are not included.
You can choose to buy on your own at Craft Haven, One Utama or buy a starter kit from me.

Kelas Folk Art akan diadakan di rumah saya yang terletak di Rawang bermula hujung bulan September ini. Kelas ini hanya diadakan pada hari Sabtu dari pukul 9 pagi hingga 12 tengahari (3jam). Bayaran RM50 dikenakan untuk setiap 3 jam. Bahan-bahan tidak disediakan.
Anda boleh membeli sendiri di Craft Haven, One Utama atau boleh membeli kit permulaan dari saya.

Something for the Kitchen

This piece I painted for a friend, Selina Anthony. Soon she is moving to a new home and will be having a house warming. So, she requested me to paint 'A Kitchen Prayer' with a colourful design.
What's more for a kitchen if it's not teapot, teacups, kitchen utensils, pastries, fruits and vegetables. After 2 months of juggling with work and painting, finally I was able to finish it.

Recycling Campaign

I painted and decorated these cute little bottles with shabby roses some time ago...

Guess what bottle are these? They are my little girl's HEINZ fruit dessert bottles...

They are so cute that I can't resist them and started collecting few for my painting and decorating projects....

Pretty Ducks

Lately, I've grown crazy on hens, roosters and ducks...
I shopped for these lovely ducks in Romantika, Selayang Mall. Still looking for the right place to place them. I have to say... I just love them......

This design was an idea I collected as a result of browsing the net.... can't remember who was the painter... but I would like to thank her for sharing it... More paintings to come soon....

Redecorating the House...

Hi everyone,

I'm in the midst of redecorating my house.... there has been a sudden urge to rearrange the stuffs I have at home. My home cries for attention.... I have some corners that shows a little bit of country, then there's another corner shabby and others I don't know what. Since my baby girl is born, I have been eyeing on pinkish stuffs (pink ribbon, pink lace, pink paintings and pink flowers etc). After much thought, I will stick to decorate my humble home with part country, part elegant, part english and part shabby. As long as my little family can live in it comfortably. I do admire many home makers out there who really can set their mind on the type of decorations they want for their home. They stick to one concept. Me...mmm....???



I have been working on some projects....which makes my workstation (my dining table) in a mess. Luckily, hubby understands my passion for painting and crafts and says 'It's ok'....



I like English decoration but don't want the things to overpower my small spaces. I'm stuffing everything on the walls instead of console tables and what not because of the space constraint.



I will upload the pics on the finished items soon...



Anyway, if you guys have any suggestions and ideas, i welcome them..... it will be great...
